bittersweet solitude of a fireflower

Was out for nearly 12 hours today doing loads of stuff, and it has been fun but kinda tiring…

Went for a secondary school fair today to help out with promoting the school, and I talked so much! Didn’t help when the weather was so incredibly humid and not all the fans in the classroom were working learnt quite a fair bit in terms of interacting with primary 6 kids and telling them more about the school

…

Went for our first (and might be the only) bridal boutique because they were having this promotion where they have this collaboration with one of my favourite photographers, and we were having lots of fun choosing gowns for me

The feeling is just so surreal, looking myself in huge white dresses attempting to make my waist small.

And I felt so… warm and fuzzy, as he sat there watching and telling the designer what he thought would look good on me.

The designer was a pretty nice guy too

Need to really consider long and hard if this boutique shall be the one for us, because we’ve only got 1 week to decide before the promotion is off!

But so far… I quite like what I see, so the likelihood to staying with them should be high.

We’ve also decided on the hotel already, although we haven’t actually gotten back to them. Haha. We did take a look at another hotel which had a very nice view of the port, but we didn’t feel comfortable with how fluid things could be; we much prefer to get what we see, and not imagine what we would get…

So fun

Had some time to kill before going over to his friend’s daughter’s 1st birthday party, and so we went to Dempsey to check out a car wash event (I swear, Adrian Pang is just so hot), ate some Ben & Jerry’s (strawberry cheesecake is nice, but NOT helpful AT ALL to losing weight and fitting into that gown), and had a neck and shoulder massage at our favourite place.

Looking at so many kids at the party, I wonder when it’ll be our turn.

There’s just so many things I want to do with you.

I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.
